Wie alle gefertigten Fahrzeuge sind auch die Leoparden im M 1:8 in Metallbauweise mit Kunststoff/Resin Teilen gefertigt, hier beträgt die Materialstärke für die Bodenwanne allerdings 3 mm.
Die Bodenwanne ist aus einem Stück CNC gelasert, gekantet und die Ecken sind verschweißt. Durch diese Bauweise ergibt sich eine robuste Plattform für höchste Belastbarkeit, die keinerlei Gelände zu
scheuen braucht.
Die Laufrollenachsen bestehen aus verschleißfestem, gehärtetem Stahl mit Innengewinde, die Lagerachsen für die Aufnahme der Drehstäbe sind aus Silberstahl gefertigt.
Die eingebaute Drehstabfederung gewährleistet auch bei schnellem Tempo in schwerem Gelände ein ruhiges Fahrverhalten.
Like all self-made vehicles, also the Leopards (MBT) in scale 1:8, are manufactured in an all-metal construction. The material thickness of the base tub is 3 mm.
The base tub is CNC-perforated out of one piece, canted and the angles are welded. Due to this construction a robust platform with the highest loading capacity is guaranteed which does not need to shy any kind of ground.
The rollers axles are made out of wear resisting, hardened steel with inside thread. The bearing shafts for the acceptance of the rotating stabs are made out of silver steel.
The built-in rotating stabs suspension guarentees an easful performance, even at a good pace on a heavy ground.
